What is buffering?
Buffering is the most irritating thing while watching our favourite movies or TV shows. You can come across buffering while watching the videos on youtube or some other platforms. Like youtube, buffering also occurs while streaming the contents on Kodi. The term buffering refers to preloading of data in a reserved memory i.e.buffer memory. This allows the user to watch the contents continuously. If there is any time delay in the transmission, the preloaded content will start playing. Buffering is an important process to stream the audio or video files continuously without any delay. This reserved memory is called as the buffer memory.

If you are using Kodi on firestick or on Android TV Box, the possibility of updating to new hardware is very low. Because they are all having a pre-defined configuration. So we can’t extend the available buffer memory. We have to make use of the buffer memory to the full extent. These files are called cache. It includes thumbnails, log files, and other such files. These files will occupy some space in the buffer memory. We have to clear this cache file to use the buffer to the full extent. In order to clear Kodi cache, you use any of the following methods.
